Brandzzz… To start, my FAVORITE eyeshadows are Makeup Geek. If you haven’t heard of it, Makeup Geek was started by a YouTube guru, Marlena, so she really knows what type of products we all love. Best of all – her eyeshadows are the MOST affordable! I promise, her line has tons of MAC dupes and I definitely reach for her shadows before my MAC ones most of the time because they often blend easier, pick up more product on the brush, and are consistently extremely pigmented. Some MAC matte shades can be a little chalky and I have yet to experience this with any Makeup Geek shadows. Even better? They are $6 a piece, beat that. Oh yeah, and even though you can currently only order them online the shipping is typically $1.99 so yeah….. Oh, FYI they only come in a single pan form, as opposed to a tradition compact so you will need to purchase a palette to put them in.

Next up, I have to go with MAC. I have used their shadows for years and they consume the most of my collection. Their shimmer and frost shades are generally very pigmented, apply evenly, and do not have fallout. Their matte shades range from incredibly pigmented, easily blendable and buttery in texture to dry and patchy – it varies by shade!

Last but certainly not least, Anastasia Beverly Hills. Holy Moly. I recently started buying her individual shades and they are up there with Makeup Geek when it comes to being my favorite. They have several different finishes – titanium, matte, velvet, etc. and they are so easy to work with. ABH shadows have less fallout than Makeup Geek, are densely pigmented, and their titanium shadows are metallic like whoa. Applied wet, the titanium shades give a high-impact foiled appearance that I die over!
