Bronzer vs. Sculpting Powders
Bronzers are meant to warm up the skin. They generally are heavier in orange undertones for this reason. They often have shimmer but can be used for contouring if they are matte. Benefit makes a great bronzer that is cooler in undertone, with a gray base rather than an orange base which makes it suitable for contour without turning you into an oompa loompa. Bronzers are also lighter in pigment concentration since they are used for all-over the face, so you may have to apply a lot more product to achieve heavier pigmentation in areas you want to contour than if you used a sculpting shade.
