There is nothing quite like sharing economics with undergraduates. All too often economics is percieved to belong in old tomes. It is always a good day when I get to see my students make connections between our class and the world in which they live.

In the classroom, I begin from the premise that if I'm not excited about the material, its doubtful my students will be. I find students respond to my enthusiasm with increased participation and motivation. Further, I emphasize clear expectations for coursework and "real world" applicability.
"Every day of class Tyler shows up coffee-in-hand, enthusiastic and prepared to teach the class. Tyler runs a great class discussion and I recommend him to any Econ student." - Student comment on Rate My Professor
